Today your child brought home a reading bag. In that bag was a reading log. This is our first “real” homework!
We ask that the kids read for at least 10 minutes a night. They may certainly read more than that if they would like. Ideally we would like them to read a minimum of 70 minutes per week. I completely understand that there will be nights that there just isn’t time to squeeze in reading! These reading logs are due back to school on the following Monday. The children do not have to read the book from school, they can choose to read a book from home if they would like.
Please return the book bags to school each day.
