We had a wonderful year end celebration today! Thank you to everyone who brought in treats. It’s been a great year!!!!! Today we were engineers! Today we had our Author Share! It was a day to celebrate all of the great writing we have done this year. Parents were invited to come “meet the authors of Room 11”. They read samples of poetry, opinion writing, information writing and more!
We were surprised with a visit from the Ice Cream Energency truck at lunch time! Thank you to our PTO!
We has so much fun at field day! The theme was “Use Your Noodle”. The kids showed great team work! Congratulations to AJ and Carter for representing our class in the balloon toss!
Today we celebrated Alyssa’s summer birthday! Her mom came in with some delicious cookies and read a story to the class!
To celebrate the end of our Non-Fiction book club unit in reading, the kids created learning posters on the topic they studied. We presented these posters to our Kindergarten buddies! It was so much fun to share all of our new learning.
