The kids were so excited to play in the snow at recess! It was like a giant play date with all of their friends! If you are going to send in snow gear, remember to send in boots, snow pants and gloves or mittens in addition to their coats and hats. Please send these items in a separate bag. A reusable shopping bag works best!

Today is day 91 of school. It is half way day. We are half way through second grade. Can you believe that? Time has flown by. As we were talking about this today, we also discovered that today marked another half way... These second graders are half way done with elementary school too!!! That's a crazy thought!!!!!!

We finished working on our iMovies today and they have been published! The kids did a great job describing different character traits! Check them out by hovering over my name on the side. You will see a link to "Character Trait Movies". The students not only studies these traits, but learned how to make an iMovies on their own. I am so proud of them!!

We have been hard at work creating iMovies! We are working in groups of three to create mini iMovies on character traits. This goes along with our current reading unit on characters. Be on the lookout for the completed projects in the next two weeks!
