The kids are loving our new unit on measurement. They created their own rulers earlier in the week, and got to work with actual rulers today. They are learning to line the up correctly to get accurate measurements.

Today we celebrated John’s birthday! The kids enjoyed delicious cupcakes.  We celebrated Max’s weekend birthday with delicious ice cream sandwiches!!!!!  We started a new math unit today. Our new unit is on measurement. Today we created our own rulers by using square one inch tiles! We celebrated Alexa’s 8th birthday on Friday with some delicious cupcakes!!!!!!  We had an amazing cultural arts today. Thank you to our PTO for bringing in the Tanglewood Marionettes. The program was fantastic. Our class was very lucky to get a special “behind the scenes” tour as well. It was a very cool experience! The kids had a great 100th day of school. We did a lot of learning that had to do with all things 100! Mrs. Pizzorusso and Mrs. Tabaka came in and did some more fun 100th day activities and even brought a yummy treat! All in all it was a fabulous day!!!! 82 more days until third grade! |
