What an awesome day we had today. Mr. B planned a fun-filled day of great activities. The kids had a blast and showed great sportsmanship! They also enjoyed a fun cultural arts presentation called "poetry in motion" which was a hip hop dance show! Check out the fun pictures!

We just finished up our unit on non-fiction book clubs. All of the kids learned so much and wanted to share their knowledge. We created posters with the facts that we learned in our book clubs. We had a fun time sharing our learning with some first graders! We were so excited to learn that we were the winners of the math contest put on by Mrs. Goodison! Our class practiced math for over 8,000 minutes over the course of the contest! Great job kiddos!!!!  We were busy little bees today! We pollinated our plants. How did we do this? We used REAL bees!!!! Don't worry, we didn't let live bees buzz through our room. We used real, dead bees that were glued to sticks! The kids had a great time "buzzing" from plant to plant! We had a super fun morning at Math Day! The kids got to rotate between 4 math stations to complete fun math games. Everyone had a blast! Thank you to Mrs. Goodison and all of the parent volunteers! We have some "budding" scientists here in Room11! We are observing our plants and today we saw some buds! So exciting!!!!! What a treat we had today! We got to watch the dress rehearsal for the spring concert. The kids really enjoyed it! |
