Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving!
We had a wonderful assembly today to honor all of the veterans both near and far. There were wonderful readings, beautiful songs and an introduction of all the veterans that could join us.
Some of our friends had a special veteran visit them!
(I apologize that some did not get a photo.)
We also had a special visit from Mrs. Connie Bombaci. She is a former RSD 17 colleague and a special friend of mine. She is the person who organizes the shipments of the crafts and cards that we create with our buddy class. She sends them to active soldiers overseas. She came with her very special service dog, Judea. Judea is deaf and she has taught him sign language. The kids enjoyed getting to meet both of them.
The rest of the class had the opportunity to test out their devices in Project Lead the Way. I am proud to announce that EVERY SINGLE device spread seeds!! Some were more successful than others, but they all worked! We talked about the strengths and weaknesses and how we could make them better. What a great group of engineers we are!
