Today we measured strips of paper to collect data. We then took this data and created a line plot. The kids worked great together.
Thank you to everyone who donated to the school fundraiser. The donated money was going to Camp Kesem. This is a camp for children who have family members who have or have had cancer. What a great cause. Our class was split down the middle. Half of us wore our jammies while the other half wore sports gear!
We had a fun day here in room 11! We did some fun activities to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Mrs. Pizzorusso made some delicious treats for us and Mrs. Miller brought in some super fun March BINGO games! We also played some fun math games that involved using Lucky Charms as place markers! To round out our fun day, we made a fun project with our kindergarten buddies!
We met with our buddies today to make some shamrock messages to mail to our soldier friends! Great work kids!!!
Today was Dr. Seuss’s birthday, also known as Read Across America Day.
We were supposed to have Family movie night tonight to celebrate, but unfortunately Mother Nature had different plans! I hear this will be rescheduled though! |
