 We had some special visitors in class today! The kids enjoyed spending the day with their stuffed friends. We read to them, wrote with them and even had music class with them. This was part of a student led fundraiser. All money raised was donated to the Jimmy Fund.
We had a great Cultural Arts program this morning. It was called Freedom Within. It taught us about respect, and caring through song and sign language. The kids had a blast!  We celebrated Liam’s birthday with some delicious cupcakes on Friday. His mom also read us one of his favorite stories! What a fun treat!
We have been reviewing some fact strategies in math this week. We talked about “tens partners” yesterday. Today the kids played “Tens Go Fish” to reinforce this strategy!!!  We celebrated our first birthday of the year yesterday! We enjoyed some refreshing ice pops on a warm afternoon!
