We met with our Kindergarten buddies to make a May Day project. The kids made beautiful May Day flower baskets to hang around the school! We were so excited to watch the third grade recorder concert today. They did a fabulous job. We can't wait to learn to play the recorder next year!
What a fun morning we had! Today was math day at Burr School. Mrs. Goodison planned a fabulous morning for us to have fun and learn while playing math games. We played "Coin Mini Golf", "Make 20 Target", "Beach Ball Fact Volleyball", and "Bump". The kids had a blast!!!!
We had a special visit from Ms. Egan's 3rd graders. They came to our class and played some beautiful recorder music for us. I was so impressed! The 2nd graders were invited to come watch the 3rd grade recorder concert next Thursday! We are super excited!!!! Great job 3rd graders!!!!!!
We had a terrific first day back to school today! We were welcomed back with a fabulous cultural arts program, the Earth Dome! It was a HUGE earth right inside our gym. We learned about the 7 continents, about major deserts and rivers and so much more. Thank you to the Burr PTO for providing us with this program!
It's that time of year again... Flat Stanley time!!!!!! We have read the story of Flat Stanley, and he has been sent home to mail out to relatives and friends. We can't wait to see where Stanley travels to and what he brings back with him!
