Our plants have been growing like crazy! We had buds, now flowers! We pollinated our flowers yesterday. We used REAL bees! It was so fun!
 We celebrated Alex’s birthday on Friday. His mom and in and did a project with us. We made slime! We have been learning so much about different states through the Adventures of Flat Stanley! He has returned with many great facts, awesome pictures and post cards, delicious treats and cool gifts! Today Stanley brought each of us an awesome rope bracelet from Cape Cod. (Thank you to Keira’s grandparents.)  We had a wonderful celebration today at school. We were celebrating being chosen as the #1 elementary school in the state of Connecticut! Congratulations to everyone that is part of the BES community! Today our school took part in A.C.E.S. This stands for all children exercising simultaneously! Our entire school enjoyed a lovely walk/run in the beautiful weather! We have started our final science unit on plants! We planted seeds yesterday. We can’t wait to watch them sprout and grow. |
