It sure was a HOT day today in Room 11!!! The kids were still hard workers. I was very impressed with them. We are working on increasing our reading stamina while becoming super readers. Today we were practicing how to retell the books that we read.
In math, the kids have been doing a super job with our math workshop. Each day they have time to meet with me in a small group, they have independent practice and a fact fluency game/activity. In writing we have been practicing how to "zoom in" on a small moment and expand upon it. They are doing great!

September 9th- 6:30-7:00: PreK-Grade 1 class visits, 7:00-7:30: whole school in cafeteria for a welcome/introduction by Mr. Larson, 7:30-8:00: Grade 2-4 classroom visits!
