We celebrated Cooper’s 8th birthday yesterday with a delicious jello and worm treat! It was a big hit!

Have you seen our amazing new display at Burr? The entire school created a butterfly for this awesome creation!

Today we had a visit from our local firefighters! They came in to give us tips on fire safety. We got to see how quickly they can get in their gear and we got to see Ms. Salzano shoot the fire extinguisher. We enjoyed becoming Jr. Firefighters with our awesome hats!

We celebrated our friend Nolan today! The class enjoyed a delicious cupcake at the end of school today!

We got to meet our kindergarten buddies today! They were celebrating the end of their first reading unit and were dressed up as characters from their favorite books. We went to their classroom and they shared these books with us! It was a great time.

Today we had a visit from one of the members of the Harlem Wizards! He was here to tell us about the upcoming game on September 29th. He even showed us some fancy tricks!
It’s a game you don’t want to miss. Our very own Principal Whidden and Mr. Snow will be a part of the teacher team playing against the Wizards.
The game will be held on September 29th at 2:00 pm at the high school.

We celebrated our first class birthday this week! We were very excited to end our day on Wednesday with some delicious cupcakes! Happy birthday Brooklyn!

Today the children performed a play for our Kindergarten buddies. They worked real hard to learn the signs that went with their lines. Thank you to Ms. D for her hard work. Thank you to Mrs. Blair for being our prop lady and for her work on the background. Enjoy!
