Last week the students enjoyed an amazing performance of Hansel and Gretel put on by the Tanglewood Marionettes. Their scenery was amazing, their puppetry was incredible and it was a fantastic show. Thank you Burr PTO for bringing them to us!
We met with our buddies to make an Easter craft! We got to use water paints, and it was so much fun! The final products were beautiful and will be perfect to display for Easter!
We celebrated Riley’s April vacation birthday a little early! The kids enjoyed delicious cookies and a story read by her mom!
We has a visit from some wonderful third graders on Friday. They invited us to come watch their recorder concert this week. They even played us a preview! We can’t wait! We were so excited to meet our own pals from H.E.S. today! They joined us for an assembly called “Rock out to Reading”. Afterwards, they came back to our class and we made picture frames and took pictures with our buddies. We then enjoyed this first day of spring by getting to play on the playground with them! We are looking forward to seeing them again next month.
The kids had a fun time playing a St. Patrick’s Day math game today. They even got to use Lucky Charms as game pieces!!!! There was strategy involved along with some plain old luck!
